Bone broth with purpose
There is a word in Japanese called ‘Ikigai’ which simply means to live life with a sense of purpose. We receive so many nudges when we are not living in alignment with our true purpose. It can often manifest in burnout, chronic illness, pain and so on. We are so switched on that what don’t switch off to listen to the whispers. We would rather ignore the feedback than feel into the uncomfortable truth. When I say we, I am speaking from personal experience. I’ve lived a life that served me up until it didn’t, and I ignored the nudges for as long as I could because the discomfort scared me. It took getting burnout, chronic cystic acne, being diagnosed with PCOS and having people I know pass away around me to realise I was not living my purpose.
Gaining a shift in perception and other lifestyle changes catapulted me out of that chapter and into a new one. It allowed me to leave the rat ran, my corporate job, flat in London and everything that defined me to step into a new season of life. The magic started to flow, the synchronicities were WILD and my Ikigai was unfolding.
There are so, so many dots that connect, and they continue with one standing out in-particular most recently cementing my purpose to continue to create the most incredible bone broth on the UK market (maybe the world). I’ve got some VERY exciting news to share. Unbelievable news considering I’m only three months into Asthi’s official launch. Full story and how this collaboration came about to follow.
